Our vision and mission

For almost 100 years, Danone, has sought to bring fermented dairy products to as many people as possible around the world. This ambition is rooted in the firm belief that fermented dairy products like yogurt contribute to a healthy diet by providing essential nutrients and the goodness of fermented foods as well as the enjoyment of pleasurable taste and textures. In many ways, yogurt is a nutritionally superior choice compared to many other food options.

In D-A-CH around 600 employees in our plants (Ochsenfurt und Rosenheim) and headquarters (Munich) work for our mission.

Yogurts are an outstanding example of the alimentation revolution: they’re natural, fresh, healthy and local.

The Fresh Dairy Products division produces and markets fermented fresh dairy products and other dairy specialities, drawing on Danone’s capacity to develop its ranges and constantly innovate, whether in terms of flavour, texture, ingredients, nutritional benefits or packaging.
